Hey there, welcome welcome - pull up a chair, have some chai.

Born and brought up in Vijayawada - the city that gave the world punugulu (fight me on this), clean water straight from the banks of the river Krishna, and a level of peace where the entire city politely shuts down by 9 PM, no fail. Honestly, best of all worlds - good food, good water, good life, minus the traffic dramas other cities love to complain about. Did my B.Tech in Computer Science from Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College, Vijayawada, Class of 2016 - four years of “the system is down” jokes that, ironically, prepared me quite well for my actual career.

After college, packed my bags and moved to Hyderabad, like every self-respecting techie from Andhra eventually does - traded 9 PM shutdowns for 9 PM stand-up calls. Started off at Tech Mahindra as an Android Apps Developer - actually writing code back then, if you can believe it. Then moved to Google as a vendor employee in the Trust & Safety division, working as an Android Security Analyst - basically reverse-engineering apps all day to catch the sneaky ones leaking your data without asking nicely first. Consider me an early, underpaid superhero for your privacy.

Somewhere along the way, I traded reverse-engineering for real engineering-adjacent work, and joined Microsoft full-time as a Project Manager, running customer projects and engagements. Turns out I was less interested in finding bugs and more interested in making sure nobody else had to.

Now I’m a Technical Project Manager at Persistent Systems, Hyderabad - basically the middleman between “what client wants” and “what engineering can deliver by Friday, that too realistically.” I don’t write code anymore, na. I write the Jira ticket that describes the code, assigns the code, and then follows up on the code - politely first, then not-so-politely. My real skill is turning “it’s almost done” into an actual date people can trust. Some call it Project Management. My mother still calls it “not real engineering, beta.”

This blog is my honest, PM-eye view of Big Tech - product decisions I’d defend to the last breath, UX choices that make me want to raise a ticket with the universe itself, and features I keep pitching in meetings that everyone nods at and nobody remembers by lunch.

Expect proper deep dives, useful frameworks, and enough dry humor to survive even the most unnecessary status call.
